Powerfest returns to partypoker on the 3rd September 2017 for an online festival running for over 3 weeks featuring 330 events. Players can buy-in to events from as little as $5.50 and up to $25,500 in the 2nd edition of the Super High Roller that is a 2 day event and carries a huge $3,000,000 guaranteed.
This $35,000,000 guaranteed Powerfest boasts 12 Championship events, 10 of which have a guarantee of $1 million or more.
Here is the official shedule:
Due to the popularity of multi-phased tournaments in the last Powerfest, 12 tournaments in September will include this feature this time with buy-ins ranging from $5.50 to $530, giving players of all bankrolls the chance to win a share of the $9,300,000 guaranteed prizepools.
After the hugely successful inaugural $2,000,000 Super High Roller in the May edition of Powerfest that had 129 entries and a prizepool of $3,225,000. The Super High Roller returns on Tuesday 19th September and will feature a $3,000,000 guaranteed prizepool.
Managing Director of partypoker, Tom Waters, said: “Powerfest just keeps getting bigger and better so this time it was only right to increase the guaranteed prizepool again to $35,000,000. I hope that the players like the changes that we have made and continue to support us. The new championship events were added to give a little prestige to the headline tournaments and each of the winner will receive a trophy. Starting with a buy-in of $11, everyone has the opportunity to be crowned a Powerfest champion.”
partypoker ambassador Patrick Leonard said: “I remember playing Powerfest at the start of the year and it was great to play some ‘pure’ poker. No gimmicks, just good structured tournaments. In May everything exploded, it was pure poker again but super-sized with insane guarantees and bigger buy-ins than ever before. I got an email this week and saw the schedule for this series in September, I helped make a couple of tweaks and I think it’s without doubt the best schedule partypoker has ever had. Bigger buy-ins, bigger guarantees, 2 day tournaments and the software will be improved making it easier for players to find the right tournaments and their experience will be better than ever before on the tables. I’ll be playing every day and cannot wait.”
