On Sunday night, the partypoker UK Poker Championships ended with the victory of Chris Brice, who won the main event for a whopping £ 187,500 ($ 262,881).

However, this was not the only event that took place as there was a £ 2,200 High Roller tournament with a £ 200,000 guarantee that also reached the final table. In the end, Jake Cody  won the trophy and £ 42,670 ($ 59,992).

Where others celebrate with a bottle of champagne, Jake Cody made his way to the roulette table to bet all his winnings. A huge crowd gathered around him as he put the 42,000 pounds (and the trophy) on black!

Dusk Till Dawn casino owner and poker lover Rob Yong himself turned the wheel. People shouted “Black! Black! Black!” and the bullet fell … Black 22!

Cody doubled his £ 42,670 bet and got paid £ 85,340 ($ 119,882). We’re sure Cody used the £ 85,000 pounds to spend a few laps.
