Ladbrokes leaves iPoker and joins PartyPoker in Q1 2020
iPoker Network is going to lose one more poker skin Ladbrokes, which followed in the footsteps of Coral Poker. The fact that Ladbrokes is also leaving the iPoker network and joining PartyPoker is not a big surprise for the online poker society. Just yesterday, CoralPoker switched to PartyPoker, and today Ladbrokes Group, one more poker room of Coral, is getting ready to move to partypoker Network.
In contrast with Coral poker’s rapid jump, Ladbrokes’ move is not as drastic and unpredictable as CoralPoker, as players received emails before the switch to another network. The site has not been set up yet, and the switching process of its software is still in progress. This rapid merger has risen many rumors and considerations regarding the real reasons for such move.
In the case of Ladbrokes, a much larger skin leaves more time and wants to join partypoker in the first quarter of 2020 after a successful transition from Coral Poker. As mentioned earlier, the change itself is not a big surprise because both operators are owned by GVC Holdings. Remarkably, both partypoker and bwin belongs to GVC since 2018.
The merge of Ladbrokes and Coral took place in 2016, so it became clear that sooner or later both online operators would join the PartyPoker network.
CoralPoker breakout has already become a big hit for iPoker neywork, but Ladbrokes` exit will hit the network even more. It is connected with the fact that Ladbrokes is much larger as Coral, in terms of poker, and it works with many countries. For iPoker, the air begins to decrease, and the last salvation is seen in the MPN skins incorporation after the closure of the Microgaming network in May 2020. The end of 2019 has brought many changes that will influence the online poke industry in 2020.
PartyPoker, on the other hand, is now getting a good boost and can now compete for the leading place in the gambling market.
