The year 2020 already has some exciting events coming up even at the beginning. Poker players around the world will start the new year with one of the best poker tournaments in history, which is the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit.

The WSOP will be held again at the Casino de Marrakech, which situated at the heart of the Es Saadi Marrakech Resort. The tournament will begin on January 10-19, 2020.

The schedule of the event includes about 24 action-packed tournaments plus a total of 10 events for poker players around the world to compete and enjoy themselves with. Definitely, the tournament promises cash games for anyone that wants to play.

The highlights of the WSOP Circuit scheduled to hold next year

One of the main highlights of the event is the WSOP Circuit Marrakech Main Event that features a 15,000 MAD (approx. €1,400) buy-in.

The event is deep-stacked and players are beginning the events with about 30,000 in chips and blinds, which increases every forty-five minutes throughout the two opening flights on Jan. 16-17.

There will be a lot to play for and every poker player has the opportunity to garner a monster stack with unlimited re-entries at the first nine blind levels of both opening flights.

However, players that earn chips will be involved in a more complex structure of one-hour blind levels that start on Day 2 on Jan. 18. Players that go through Day 2 will contend for one final day on Jan. 19 till a winner is found.

It essential to know that Casino de Marrakech was the last venue of two WSOP Circuit tournaments this year. And the winner of the January edition was Sonny Franco who won a field of 544 players to win the WSOP Circuit Marrakech Main Event for 1,500,000 MAD ($156,862).

The WSOP Circuit was again held in June 2019 and the winner of the festival was Phillip Huxley who won a field of 359 players to win 947,780 ($99,632).

The Main Event is the biggest side attraction to poker players, but there are also lots of exciting games to choose in the schedule that boasts of about nine events with buy-ins of €180. Additionally, satellite events have a low buy-in of €45.

According to the schedule of WSOP Circuit, some of the big events include the 4,500 MAD (€420) WSOPC Grand Opener on Jan. 10-12, the 6,000 MAD (€560) WSOPC Deepstack on Jan. 14-15, the 20,000 MAD (€1,900) WSOP Circuit High Roller on Jan. 15-16, the 6,000 MAD (€560) WSOPC Monsterstack on Jan. 18-19, and the 30,000 MAD (€2,800) WSOPC Super High Roller on Jan. 19.
