Five Championship Events feature as part of broad tournament schedule
partypoker’s flagship POWERFEST series makes its return this Sunday, 31 March, running up until 14 April 2019.
Guaranteeing a total of $30M in prize money, a host of game formats are again on offer to suit all tastes, including Deep, 6-Max, 8-Max and Turbo, in buy-ins ranging from $5.50 to $25,500.
PKO events feature prominently on the schedule, which provide greater value for players than competitor sites due to the elimination of rake on the bounty portion of the buy-in.
The latest edition of POWERFEST borrows from the site’s daily ‘Power Series’ offering that features ‘grind’ events early in the day at a Euro-friendly timeslot, with faster-structured events taking place in the evening time – resulting in overall earlier finish times.
Five ‘Championship Event’ winners will be crowned during the festival from April 4, with three headline events scheduled for the final day that all guarantee $1M apiece.
A minimum of $3.8M in prize money is up for grabs on the opening Sunday’s play, highlighted by a $200K GTD PKO event at 19:00 GMT with a $55 buy-in.
The final day will see players battle for a combined $5.4M including the three Championship Events, as the site looks to deliver an action-packed line-up to sign off the latest flagship series.
On April 11 the biggest names in poker are expected for the $25,500 Super High Roller at 17:00 GMT promising $2.5M in prize money, while April 14’s ‘$1M GTD PKO Championship Event’ is one of fourteen ‘POWERFEST $320s’ that give players the chance to compete for huge prizepools at a more accessible buy-in.
Pot Limit Omaha fans are well catered for with two $5K buy-in PLO events scheduled for April 4 and April 11 at 19:00 GMT, each carrying a $500K guarantee.
The five Championship Events, guaranteeing a combined $6.5M:

In addition, a full satellite schedule will run round the clock on partypoker, including a specially designed satellite program awarding seats into each of the five Championship Events running between April 4 and April 14, along with all High Roller events.
Team partypoker’s Patrick Leonard said: “My favourite online tournament series is coming back to partypoker from March 31 to April 14.
“You can compete for huge prizepools from as little as $5.50 every day, with buy-ins all the way up to $10,300! Satellites are already well underway, and I’m going to try and play every day.”
