Rush & Cash, the Fast Fold Variant on the GGNetwork
Once the GG network jumped on the bandwagon by introducing its own Fast Fold variant, namely Rush & Cash, it wasn’t going to be a surprise to find them enjoying significant traffic for this very popular format. Let’s have a look at what Rush & Cash is, and how it works.
The game format itself is nothing unusual, being simply the regular No Limit Texas Holdem cash game. What is different – and it’s a pretty crucial difference – is that you don’t sit at a table with the same opponents all the time. Instead, as soon as you fold a hand you’re essentially sent through the ether to a brand new table, with a brand new hand, and you’re thrown straight back into the action. There’s no need to hang around, twiddling your thumbs as you wait for the next hand to start. There’s literally never a dull moment…

Rush & Cash: Rakeback
All players participate in the Fish Buffet programme, which offers up to 60% Cashback at the top level. Additionally, GG hosts daily rake races worth $33k, which offers grinders fantastic value.
Meanwhile, there are Cash Drops which are randomly added to the pot, and these can vary from 10BB up to a massive 600BB. Of course, it’s great to have these cash drops hanging around, but it must be noted that they have nothing to do with generating rake, or with rakeback. To cover the costs for Cash Drops, the network automatically deducts 1 Big Blind if the Pot is higher than 30BB.
New players also have a Welcome Bonus which, depending on the skin, can be up to $1,000.
As you see, you can earn a lot of rakeback by playing Rush & Cash on the GGpoker network. Moreover, with the exclusive YPD promotions and deals that you can take advantage of by signing up via YourPokerDream, there’s even more juicy cash to be had – even 100% is possible!
How do Cash Drops work?
First, let’s go back to the cash drops of the Rush & Cash variant. For smaller cash drops, the amount is added directly to the pot and the winner of that pot receives the extra money. All the other players at the table receive nothing, so this extra incentive can change the table dynamic and thus prompt more action. For the bigger cash drops the amount is divided among all players. There are also hands that are distributed without any cash drops.
Cash Drop Probabilities
Drop Amount (Blinds) | Drops To | Drop Rate |
600 | Player Stacks | 1 / 100,000 |
20 | Pot | 111 / 100,000 |
15 | Pot | 385 / 100,000 |
10 | Pot | 1,900 / 100,000 |
Can playing Rush & Cash be profitable?
It can be very profitable playing Rush & Cash, but you have to be ready for a high(er) level of variance similar to Spin & Go tournaments, and prudent bankroll management is an imperative. Additionally, prepare to be part of a potentially crazy game – this is definitely a format that requires an iron-clad mindset.
We should mention that Rush & Cash is a PVI affected variant, like almost all in the GGnetwork. However, with the soft player pool, together with the daily rake races, the general rakeback programme from GG and the exclusive YourPokerDream VIP Deals, there is more than enough reason to believe that playing Rush & Cash can be very profitable.
