The 50 greatest poker players of all time

In the light of celebrating the #WSOP50 this summer, WSOP officials recently released a list that contains the 50 greatest poker players of all time.

The list was collected after totaling the different polls from the stable of 26 poker media and supporters in the industry. It is necessary to know that a list of 200 poker players was given to the panel together with the opportunity to include write-ins.

However, there was no ranking that was involved at that time, but the panel only selected which player belonged to the Top 50 list only in the stance that a chosen player has played at WSOP before.

Here is the list below:

Doyle Brunson Joe Cada Johnny Chan Stephen Chidwick TJ Cloutier
Allen Cunningham Shaun Deeb Tom Dwan Eli Elezra Antonio Esfandiari
Chris Ferguson Ted Forrest Phil Galfond Barry Greenstein Gus Hansen
Jennifer Harman Dan Harrington Isaac Haxton Phil Hellmuth John Hennigan
Fedor Holz Phil Ivey Berry Johnston John Juanda Bryn Kenney
Jeff Lisandro Adrian Mateos Jason Mercier Michael Mizrachi Chris Moorman
Carlos Mortensen Johnny Moss Daniel Negreanu Scott Nguyen Dominik Nitsche
Steve O’Dwyer Puggy Pearson Amarillo Slim Preston Brian Rast Chip Reese
Huck Seed Erik Seidel Vanessa Selbst Dewey Tomko Stu Ungar

Furthermore, many reactions were enacted from poker fans on players who didn’t make the list of the 50 WSOP greatest players in history which included David “Devilfish” Ulliott, David Peters, Daniel Colman, Jason Koon, and Mike Sexton.
