Partypoker Closes 16 Bot Accounts in September 2019; reclaims $9,338 and €3,368
As part of its goal to make sure bot accounts don’t exist in the poker scene, partypoker disclosed the closure of 16 bot accounts in September 2019 and reclaimed about $9,338 (dotcom) and €3,368 (doteu). Out of the 16 bot accounts 13 were derived from partypoker’s global dotcom player pool, and the rest were registered to its ring-fenced doteu market.
However, the monies: $9,338 (dotcom) and €3,368 (doteu), will be returned to affected players, according to partypoker.
Furthermore, partypoker has asked the players to keep reporting suspicious activities at the tables by emailing reports@partypoker.com. The popular poker operator also stated that it would investigate all reports as quickly as possible.
The website is solely devoted to making sure the poker industry is free from bot accounts and also ensuring the safety of poker players. The investigation team at partypoker is spearheaded by a specialist Poker Fraud Team involving a collection of former poker professionals.
