The world Series of Poker (WSOP) circuit recently released, on Wednesday, seven added stops for 2020, and it also includes a new stop at the Casino Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain, and a return to Paris, France. It is essential to note that the schedule increases the total number of events of the International Circuit to sixteen. Last season had just twelve stops on the International Circuit.
It is also essential to know of the tour, which is gaining much interest in Casino de Marrakech in Morocco for the second time.
However, the Director of WSOP, Gregory Chochon, who is also the head of WSOP’s international efforts, said: “We continue to see great interest and feedback in our International Circuit series. New markets have performed well, and we’re continually searching for new locales to bring the WSOP experience to players in those regions.”
The schedule for individual circuit hasn’t been issued yet to the public.
Just as the United States domestic circuit, there are two qualifiers for each stop on the WSOP Global Casino Championship. The winner of the Main Event and Casino will get an entry to the season’s event together with the gold WSOP Circuit ring and prize money from that event.
Additionally, the international and the United States tours will come up together in the season’s Global Casino Championship that comes up in August 2020 at Harrah’s Cherokee in North Carolina. On the International stops, there will be no “at large” qualifiers, and it is likely to contribute about 32 qualifications to the Global Casino Championship.
Players from the International stop have opportunities to qualify for the 2019-20 Global Casino Championship: to be the winner of a Circuit Main Event and win a “Casino Championship” which is the player who gets the most points all through the gold ring schedule at the International stop. These winners will get a “freeroll” seat into the culminating event and be included in the U.S. Domestic circuit qualifiers. The U.S. Domestic circuit comprises of 50 at large point qualifiers together with the 70 qualifiers.
