Big chaos at Betsson Group caused by joining the iPoker network.
Betsson Group is known to be a decent highly-organized Company that has everything under control. We have never faced any issue with them in the past. But since their move to the iPoker network – that took place 4 weeks ago – nothing seems to work out anymore. Despite the fact that its tracking links work correctly, new registrations are not getting linked to us. Our persistence and the help of our players have gone along way to assist us in finding out missing registrations that were not tracked. Since we don’t see any usernames in the statistic reports and receive almost no reports at all, this doesn’t make things any easier for us.
Unfortunately, we always request several times about many things, even the simplest one, like grading a player to our 30% flat Rakeback deal + 5k rake chase. We only get answered after sending a reminder.
The question is, how come switching to a different network causes a big mess? It is important to know that changes in big companies don’t just occur abruptly. Moreover, the move to iPoker was announced several months ago which means that there was some time to prepare for the upcoming changes. Companies hire several developers in advance to send a sample data to ensure the right data exchange, process and correct uploads to and from the systems. Nevertheless, this is a standard for most notable companies today, but it’s not the same when it comes to online poker.
It is important to mention that the Betsson Group is a professional international company that is listed on the stock exchange. We are aware that this situation is not pleasant for the Betsson Group either, but a little planning would have prevented such issues from arising. But we hope the company will fix this mess as soon as possible.
Will BestPoker handle its move to iPoker better than the Betsson Group?
Our partner BestPoker plans to move from GGPoker network to iPoker on July 1st, 2020. In this case, the company’s professionalism is essential to us; we are excited to see BestPoker’s upcoming migration. However, we don’t know if BestPoker has done thorough planning in advance to avoid the same chaos with the Betsson, Betsafe, and NordicBet skins. We hope this migration goes well so that poker players can continue to enjoy their game on BestPoker.
