Day 2 didn’t last long for the Russian Mikhail Vilkov, who earned the 28th place. More players followed shortly afterward, including Stephen Chidwick, Andras Nemeth, and Wiktor Malinowski. Team partypoker had three players finishing the last 20 spots. The table quickly had only two players at the end, as Ludovic Geilich said goodbye to the tournament in the 19th place and went home with $68,000 in prize money, which is undoubtedly a reasonable sum. Ole Schemion moved up a few more places before he too had to give up before British poker legend Simon Trumper ended up in 15th place.
Pascal Hartmann, who started the day as the chip leader, took the 14th place finish.
Kahle Burns received the tournament’s first six-figure prize, $ 102,500, by finishing 11th. Jake Schindler, Timothy Adams, and Brock Wilson were the last three players to leave the tournament. The play will continue with seven players guaranteed at least $ 155,060 in prize money. A grand prize of $1,094,460 awaits the winner.
Mikita Badziakouski could be that champion because he is at the top of the tournament with 4,750,685 chips. Badziakouski has nearly $28.5 million from live poker tournaments to date, and seven of them were over $1 million. He has the skill, and his recent stride is decent.
The second place at the restart is currently occupied by the Russian grinder Aleksei Barkov, a low-stakes player who has fought his way into this massive event through a $265 satellite tournament. He only has to leave six players behind to make a seven-figure profit from $265.
The 2019 WSOP Europe Main Event Champion Alexandros Kolonias is third in chips with 3,673,742 stacks. Joining him is another member of the partypoker team in Jason Koon (3,420,295). At the same time, Mark Demirjian (1,997,915) from Lebanon, Daniel Rezaei (1,630,432), and Ali Imsirovic (723,198) are the other finalists who still have the chance of victory and the million-dollar prize money.
