WSOP Main Event 2020 GGPoker

Popular poker operator, GGPoker, has begun its WSOP $10,000 No-Limit Hold ’em World Championship for the year. According to GGPoker, there is $5 million worth of WSOP Main Event Seats are certain between now and Dec. 6, 2020, and satellites start from just $0.50.

According to the announcement by GGPoker, the WSOP will come as a hybrid online-live tournament. And players from Nevada and New Jersey will play first at WSOP.com. International players will play at GGPoker.

The winner of the online WSOP Main Event at GGPoker will be entitled – in addition to the share of the enormous prize pool – a free trip to Las Vegas, where there will battle heads-up for another $1 million in prize plus the 2020 WSOP Main Event World Championship bracelet.

In each section/leg of the online tournament, the prize money will be paid out independently to the final table. Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino will host the final table for US players. However, live play will take place at King’s Resort, Rozvado, for international players.

It is essential to know that every player in the WSOP 2020 Main Event will only have one entry – which has always been the tournament’s norm. This means that if a player is eliminated in Day 1A, the player will not play further in the tournament. Every player is entitled to get three hundred blinds in this tournament.

  • Day 1B – Saturday, Dec. 5
  • Day 1C – Sunday, Dec. 6
  • Day 2 – Monday, Dec. 7

  • Heads Up Championship – Wednesday, Dec. 30, Live at Rio, Las Vegas

GGPoker WSOP2020 could ‘possibly break its record for the biggest prize pool for an online poker tournament.’

GGPoker is offering more than $5 million in guaranteed seats, equivalent to over 500 seats, to assist players in qualifying for the $10,000 buy-in Main Event.

2020 WSOP Main Event is expected to break records, as it is probable that it will attract millions of players and award millions in prize money.

WSOP witness a huge turnaround in terms of players during its online Main Event that to place this summer. It was the largest single poker event in the poker industry. Then GGPoker was given an official Guinness World Record due to the fact that it generated the biggest prize pool in a tournament.

Even though the upcoming Main Event only has a buy-in of $10K, we may not see the same participation as it was in the summer. But there is no doubt that the prominence of the WSOP World Championship Main Event may attract more players and break its records. But the event can only do this if it attracts a minimum of 2871 players across its three Day 1s. This is possible given the fact that GGPoker is offering 500 seats.
