iPoker Announces Bounty Hunter Series with €1,500,000 Guaranteed

iPoker Network has recently announced the full schedule for the upcoming Bounty Hunter Series, which will be the second PKO tournament festival in the history of this network. This tournament series is going to have a total guarantee of €1,500,000 across its 110 events. On top of that, iPoker has announced Bounty Hunter daily missions and leaderboards, which promise to bring some extra value to the tournament series. Bounty Hunter Series Overview

It is evident that the management of the iPoker Network is determined to continue its competition with 888poker and partypoker when it comes to tournament poker. iPoker has made some good progress in this area recently. In the past 4 months, the network hosted a record-breaking iPoker Festival Winter, introduced a brand new series format, and even launched Big Weekly flagship events. 

The iPoker Network Bounty Hunter Series is promised to arrive on February 30th and will go on until March 6th. This tournament series will feature a €1,500,000 guaranteed prize pool across its 110 events. 

Some changes were introduced to the Bounty Hunter Series when compared to the same festival last year. There will be more events offering a €100,000 guaranteed prize pool. It is fair to say that some of these events will have an overlay. The average guarantee per event has been increased by a third (€11,905 last year vs €13,695 this year). However, the minimum buy-in has also been increased from €10 to €20. This year, there will be a larger number of Omaha events (3 last year vs 20 this year). These Omaha events will have buy-ins from €20 to €100 and will guarantee from €3,500 to €10,000. All of the events during the Bounty Hunter Series will allow up to 3 re-entries during the late registration period.

iPoker Bounty Hunter Main Event

The Main Event did not see any changes when compared to last year. The BHS#18 will start on March 6th and will feature a total guarantee of €1,000,000. All players that participate in the Main Event will get a startick stack of 10,000 chips, or 200BB. The blind levels are going to be 12 minutes. The late registration period will have 12 levels (2 hours and 24 minutes). 

The €50 satellite for the Main Event is already running every evening and guarantees 1 ticket to the winner. There will also be three Mega Sats on March 6th. These satellites will have the same buy-in but will guarantee 5 tickets instead. 

Step satellites start at €.20. It is also important to note that you can win entries to all other tournament of the series. 

Bounty Hunter Missions and Leaderboards

Besides the tournament series, the iPoker Network will also run 2 additional promotions. These promotions as Bounty Hunter missions and leaderboards. These promotions give you an opportunity to win Bounty Hunter tournament tickets. 

Here is an overview of the Daily Missions

The Daily Bounty Hunter Leaderboard will be open until March 3rd. Players will be awarded 1 point for each knockout they perform while playing in the tournament with a buy-in larger than €5. On top of that, 50 best finishers will be awarded tournament tickets of varying values. These tickets will be valid for 2 months. The top finisher will get a €100 ticket. The runner-up will get a €50 ticket. Third-place finisher will get a €20 ticket. Places from 4th to 6th will get €10, from 7th to 15th will get €5, from 16th to 25th will get €2, from 16th to 25th will get €2, and places from 26th to 50th will be awarded €1 tickets. 

These kind of prizes are very valuable for regular iPoker Network players. That is because free tickets are extremely profitable when used to entre the events of the series or even satellites.
