GG Online Championship has recently kicked off on the GGPoker and has already become poker’s biggest-ever online series thanks to its huge guaranteed prize pool of $150 million. The series is going to run through May 31st and will feature 131 numbered events throughout its busy schedule. Those events are also split into up to four buy-in levels, in order to make them more affordable and enjoyable for different players. Low buy-in versions of events start just from $5. Medium buy-in events start from $25, High from $500, and Super High from $2,500.
Along with this tournament series, GGPoker has also rolled out a brand new leaderboard dedicated to the festival. Read on for more GG Online Championship highlights.
GG Online Championship Highlights
When it comes to highlights, it is quite difficult to pick a tournament out of a plethora of events on offer with so many massive guaranteed prize pools. However, there is a trio of events that deserve some special attention, as their combined guarantees reach an almost unbelievable $24 million.
First up is the $10,300 Super MILLION$ HR Main Event. Its Day 1s will start on May 15. Super MILLION$ tournaments always gather a field with the biggest names in the poker. The GG Online Championship edition is going to be extra special due to its huge $10 million guarantee on its prize pool. Therefore, we can expect that the top prize will be around $1.5 million.
The other $10,300 Super MILLION$ HR Championship is going to kick off its action on May 29th with an impressive $6 million guaranteed.
On top of that, there is the quite remarkable GG Online Championship Main Event, which has its final day scheduled for May 19th. This event has an $8 million guarantee on its prize pool and a $1,500 buy-in. However, players can expect several satellites, which will feed into this particular tournament, as it will require 5,600 entries to reach the ambitious guarantee. World-famous poker player and GGPoker’s Global Ambassador, Daniel Negreanu, is excited for the GG Online Championship as well. Here is what he had to say:

$500,000 Leaderboard for GG Online Championship Players
GGPoker has also decided to spice up the competition for their new tournament series with 3 leaderboards. There will be a total of $500,000 in prizes, with $250,000 going to the top finishers of the high tier leaderboard, $150,000 in the middle tier, and $100,000 to the low tier.
GGPoker has also announced that it will be broadcasting 3 events live on its official YouTube channel. These events are:
- $2.5 million GTD Super MILLION$ High Rollers on May 10
- $10 million GTD Super MILLION$ HR Main Event on May 24
- $6 million GTD Super MILLION$ HR Championship on May 31st.
