Partypoker has recently announced another live-online poker series, which will take place in Malta from March 17th to March 31st. The partypoker Championship Malta (PPC) promises to be one of the larger poker festivals this month. Partypoker also continues its partnership with the McLaren F1 team, as a new video game launch was announced. Read on for more details.

Partypoker Championship Malta Series Overview

Partypoker continues the trend of offering hybrid events, which allow players to participate in both live and online formats. The partypoker Championship (PPC) Malta is going to kick off on March 17th and will run through March 31st. The festival is going to take place at the Portomaso Casino and will feature 50 live and online events. The schedule also includes a €550 Main Event with a €500,000 guaranteed prize pool. . It will feature both online and live qualifiers. As we can see, partypoker has settled in for a strategy, which allows it to offer players the best of a live and online series as the pandemic still continues to be a problem.

The partypoker Championship Malta Series is going to follow another live-online hybrid Grand Prix UK, which has wrapped up its action on March 14th. PPC Malta promises to bring even more action to the upcoming festival.

The definite highlight of the entire series will be its Main Event. It will have four Day 1 starting flights, which will run on March 17th, 20th, 24th, and 27th. There will be another four live Day 1 flight hosted at the Portomaso Casino on April 2nd and April 3rd. Overall, the entire schedule will consist of three types of events: online only, live only, and hybrid events. Online players will be able to participate in a variety of exciting tournaments. For example, the $55 Grand Prix KO runs from March 17th to March 24th with a total guarantee of $200,000. On top of that, there will be a $320 Knockout Championship with a $400,000 guarantee from March 24th to March 28th.

Players will also have plenty of opportunities to get into PPC Malta action for cheap. Main Event satellites are already underway and are held in the phase tournament format. These satellites are an excellent way to enter the Main Event with a smaller bankroll. For example, qualifiers start at just €0.01 and run daily. These events guarantee at least 10 tickets to the €2.20 satellites. All players that manage to advance in those events will take their chips through with them to the €11 Phase 2. Eventually, the top 20% of the playing field in that phase will move on to the €55 weekly final, which runs on Thursdays. The first weekly final will take place on March 17th and will guarantee at least 25 Main Event Online Day 1 seats. Players are also offered an opportunity to buy into any stage of the qualification tree. Of course, the €55 weekly final has a direct buy-in option as well.

After all of the online events are wrapped up, the PPC Malta action will transition to the Portomaso Casino for the live events. There will be many interesting side events such as €2,200 High Roller and a “Win the Button”, which is a fast-paced turbo tournament.
