More Chips and more Value at theWSOP 2019
The World Series of Poker is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and has just made some changes to its schedule. It shows that there are more smaller buy-in tournaments; a total of nine online events and even a short deck Championship at this year’s WSOP.
Meanwhile, the blinds structures have been published for all 89 events. The fact that the events promise more value can be seen in many places, because there are more chips.
“We’re sure that players will see the structures as the best value there has ever been at the WSOP,” said Seth Palansky, WSOP VP of Corporate Communications
Another noticeable change from the years zuvpr is that there will be more smaller no-limit events in 2019, making the WSOP more accessible to hobby players and low stakes players.
In addition to hobby players and all those who have to deal with smaller bankroll, these events are also interesting for many pros who appreciate the low amount of buy-ins.
The Turbo Tournaments will still be there
Although most of the events on the 2019 schedule are aimed at increasing playtime due to demand, not all players have 3-4 days to play poker, so of course there are also some events with faster blind structures around the players to satisfy with a little less time.
“The Super Turbo Bounty event was really popular and we have some players who have less time to play poker. Therefore, these people will find several deals that are still playing for bracelets, “said Palansky. “The whole Deepstack bracelet series is another example. There is still tremendous value – better than anything else on the market – but it’s so fast-paced that the tournaments will be dealt with in two or three days. “
Every kind of player will find something
There are events this year with buy-ins from $400 up to $100,000. Adapted and better structures and a variety of turbo tournaments to make the WSOP 2019 interesting for every type of player.
Palansky believes, “Like everything around the WSOP, we have something for everyone and we’re sure that all players will find multiple events that are fun and have a great gaming experience. Without a doubt, anyone coming to Las Vegas this summer will find the best value for money and the largest prize pools at the 50th edition of the World Series of Poker in Rio. “
