Dear community,
Unfortunately, we have some bad news for you. As some of you know, YourPokerDream has two different partnerships. For eight years, we have a regular affiliate partnership, and for several years now, we have also had an agent partnership. Both areas are similar, but ultimately different and separate for us, as well as for GGPoker. So the agent business and the affiliate business are not connected with each other.
This change and news has nothing to do with the normal affiliate business! This news only concerns the agent area and serves as an official statement for all our external partners who are also affected by the incident, as the YPD agent business with GG will be shut down within the next few weeks.
That means also, that we are not able anymore to assist players who signed up on the agent side with any deposits/withdrawals.
All of our external partnerships were handled through our agency and a special code. Unfortunately, one of our partners violated all regulations and launched a website with the name GGPoker in it, which is strictly prohibited in the agent area and without authorization. Rakeback deals were also offered there, which GG does not approve of at all. Of course, this is demonstrably not YourPokerDream’s fault, but we are nevertheless liable and responsible for our partners. On the one hand, it’s understandable that GG is taking action against such behavior, which is important, and it would be terrible if GGPoker ignored such behavior. On the other hand, the punishment is very harsh for us as a loyal partner, as it’s clear that all of this was done without our knowledge, and it makes it seem as if they were waiting for such an opportunity. It’s an open secret how the agent program was run for years, what the actual purpose of the agent program was, and which things were simply ignored by all parties. For certain reasons, we will not disclose any details at this time. For about a year now, the entire agent department has been undergoing restructuring and is now being managed as it should have been from the beginning. Various things we addressed from us already years ago are now being implemented. Nevertheless, there are still numerous issues that continue to be ignored or tolerated, but that’s not our place to judge.
The punishment of deleting all players from the aforementioned partner and subsequently deducting the commission already paid is completely reasonable and understandable for us. The reduction of the deal for existing players on the agent side and the termination of the cooperation in the agent area is, as already mentioned, greatly exaggerated in our opinion. To be fair, though, we must also say that GG never gave us any written assurances regarding the agent area, that our commission for referred players always remains the same and depends on various factors. Therefore, we have to accept it as it is, and GGPoker isn’t acting improperly here, even if the timing is, of course, very questionable.
We would have very much preferred a different outcome, but now we have to accept it. We thank all our partners who worked transparently with us in the agent area until the end. Some of you are continuing to work with our agent deals at WPTGlobal, iPoker, and also WPN, which we are looking forward to.
Update 13.11.2025: Since we continue to receive numerous inquiries, here is another brief statement. From a legal standpoint, we are not permitted to provide further information about the incident, nor to mention any names or the partner involved.
