Media credential applications are now officially open for the 57th edition of the World Series of Poker, the world’s most prestigious and lucrative poker series.
Journalists, photographers, and media professionals interested in covering the 2026 tournament can now apply online, with the submission deadline set for 11:59 p.m. PST on Friday, May 8.
The tournament will return to its now-established venues at Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas, kicking off on May 26. The highlight of the series, the WSOP Main Event®, is scheduled to begin on July 2 with its first starting flight, Day 1A.
This year’s Main Event introduces a notable schedule format. Play will pause once the final table is reached on July 13, with the remaining players returning 20 days later to compete in the final three days. Those concluding stages will be broadcast live on ESPN, culminating in the crowning of a new world poker champion on August 5.
Media representatives seeking access to cover or photograph the event must complete their credential applications online before the May 8 deadline.
