Players to Earn Up to 80% Cashback Under New Scheme
GGPoker, the world’s largest online poker room, has announced the launch of Ocean Rewards, a new loyalty program set to debut on January 30, 2026. The program will replace the existing Fish Buffet system and introduces a redesigned approach focused on simplicity, long-term player value, and increased rewards.
Ocean Rewards is positioned as one of the most generous loyalty programs in the online poker industry, offering players the opportunity to earn up to 80% cashback, up from the previous maximum of 60%. The new structure is designed to move away from short-term progression mechanics and instead reward consistent play with greater transparency and stability.
Under the Ocean Rewards system, players accumulate Tide Points and Gems through gameplay. As they progress through tiers ranging from Fish to Shark, the rate at which Gems are earned increases, reinforcing the program’s core principle: collect more, earn more.
Among the key features of Ocean Rewards is guaranteed yearly status, allowing players to lock in their tier until the end of the following year. This marks a significant change from the previous model, which relied on shorter qualification periods and frequent resets.

The transition to Ocean Rewards will be automatic when the program goes live on January 30. Players will not be required to opt in, and any existing Fish Buffet rewards will be automatically cashed out to player balances. Accounts will then be upgraded instantly to their corresponding Ocean Rewards tier.
With the introduction of Ocean Rewards, GGPoker aims to set a new standard for loyalty programs in online poker, combining higher returns with a more streamlined and player-friendly experience.
